Day 1–2
Arrive San José & Arenal
Land in San José. Transfer to La Fortuna at the base of Arenal Volcano. Welcome dinner at a jungle eco-lodge.
Day 3
Volcano & Hot Springs
Morning hike through Arenal Volcano National Park. Afternoon free. Evening soak in natural volcanic hot springs under the stars.
Day 4
Monteverde Cloud Forest
Transfer to Monteverde. Afternoon zip-line canopy tour through the cloud forest — 12 platforms, two Tarzan swings, one unforgettable hour.
Day 5
Wildlife & Hanging Bridges
Guided walk on Monteverde's hanging bridges. Sloth sanctuary visit. Night hike to spot tree frogs and kinkajous.
Day 6
Pacuare River Rafting
Full-day white-water rafting on the Pacuare — Class III–IV rapids through pristine jungle gorges. One of the top 10 rafting rivers in the world.
Day 7–8
Pacific Coast & Surf
Head to Nosara on the Nicoya Peninsula. Surf lessons on a beginner-friendly beach break. Sunset yoga on the beach. Howler monkeys at dawn.
Day 9
Farewell San José
Transfer back to San José. Farewell lunch at a local soda. Depart with a full heart and a carry-on full of hot sauce.
